Bat Control

Bats are beneficial (a single bat eats thousands of insects a night) and are protected under state and federal wildlife laws in most places, so bat control is exclusion-based, not pesticide-based — sealing entry points with one-way devices that let bats leave but not return.

Accumulated bat guano carries a real health risk (histoplasmosis, a fungal lung infection) if disturbed, so an attic or wall space with a bat colony usually needs professional cleanup in addition to exclusion, not just a DIY entry-point patch.
